One of the first things I did when I moved here was Google search “digital marketing events for women” – this led me to SheSays and Sara, who is the beauty behind my first, official person post.
I’ve been blessed with gfs who love life, travel well, take risks, expect little, give more, want the best and much more. Sara is the perfect balance between my gfs back home and the wild child I used to be. Easy to say, we get along very well. Here are her answers:
How long you have been in SG?
I’ve been here all my life, and have not left except to go to school in Oklahoma! Big difference from living in sin city and living in a quiet town in the Bible belt.
What brought you to SG?
I’m going to change this to be more like, What kept you in SG?
Singapore is my home. Everything I’ve ever needed is here, from friends and family, food, lifestyle, boys (yup, very important point!!) – all in one compact city. I do sometimes dream of leaving this country, but only so that I can spread my wings (and find more boys!!!!) but I am proud to carry my red passport and my pink IC everywhere I go.
Your most favorite memory in SG? + a picture to go with the favorite memory
Funnily enough, my memories of any of the places I go have always been tagged to the people I met. I think, and this is probably due to its recency and how pretty much 70% of my memory has been blotto-ed by alcohol, my 26th birthday is top 3 in my most favourite memories here. Not only was I surrounded by the people who love me the most, I felt cherished and appreciated – and I was pretty drunk so it goes without saying that I was pretty effing happy. Also – check out that background dood! This was taken at OverEasy Fullerton. Pretty much anywhere on this stretch is a must go with this gorgeous view.
